Sport bumper install

The sport bumper is,in my opinion a very smart addition to the standard Santa Fe bumper, both I and Andy decided to have this mod done to our Santys.
Hope you enjoy the info....

Partguy who supplied this item suggested to use zipties at the 2 lower outer edge brackets because as we found it was difficult to locate the 2 outer bolts.

As the pic says, we think it gives the front end of the Santy a far more aggressive look.

Time to fit the first one was about an hour, second one just around 20 minutes, also worth noting is that this part can be moved to your next Santa Fe without causing any damage.

Our thanks go to Partguy who went to great lengths to ship them out to the UK in record time, and he gave us a great deal.:)

Boy does the Sports Grill look great on my wife's White GLS, 4WD, 2004
Great show and tell guys!!
I also picked up a Sports Grill from Partsguy!
It was really dificult to get those top two bolts in; rivets what a great idea!
Thanks for the tip about the nylon cable ties! I was wondering how I was going to get the two end bolts on the bottom secured.
Also, have a graphic on the sides of the Santy,
Red, White and Blue, Stars and Stripes, I'll try to get a picture posted tomorrow.

I can't believe I'm gonna get chauffered around in those two neat Santys when I go "over there" to visit next summer!!! They will, however, have to drive in reverse so they will be on the "right" side of the road. Gonna get to ride in HD's 2.7 petrol Santy then Andy's torque smashin' TD...YEEEEEHAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Great pictures and write up guys. I must admit that the Silver Santy truly is the nicest color of them all. Yours doesn't look to shabby either Andy.

By the way Andy, how do you keep your engine bay so clean? Do you never drive it?

 Re: Sport bumper install

If it ever stops raining I'll take a few pics.
The stars and stripes really go well with the sports grill.
I was having a problem getting the two ends bolts on the bottom of the grill to go in, and was ready to try the nylon cable ties as suggested, and then I saw the pics on installing and figured if two English guys could get it right so could I!
Went back and gave it another try and now the grill is bolted up solid!
Must be something about being American, hate to get beat by the English!

Just remember you two Brits (1 English/1 Welsh)...if the skunk scent additive is not approved by Hyundai, don't come sniveling around here on the Forum!!
